《法華經(jīng)》中《觀世音菩薩普門品》敘述，若有人稱觀世音菩薩之名號，則大火不能燒，西方三圣銅佛像，大水不能飄，夜叉羅剎不能惱，對有怖畏者施無畏，若求男女者隨而令得之；又，受持此菩薩之名號，或?qū)χY拜供養(yǎng)，其福德與受持六十二億恒河沙菩薩之名字、復(fù)盡形供養(yǎng)飲食衣服臥具者相等。

The alokitesvara bodhisattva pu-men-pin narrates in the fa-hua sutra that if someone has the name of the alokitesvara bodhisattva， the fire cannot burn， the flood cannot float， and the yin-cha lusha cannot get angry. Furthermore，純銅西方三圣銅佛像， those who are offered the name of this bodhisattva， or the worship of this bodhisattva， are equally blessed as those who are offered food， clothing， clothing， bedding， and medicine by the name of the 6.2 billion Ganges sand bodhisattva in all its forms.

大勢至菩薩：又名得大勢菩薩，或簡稱勢至。此菩薩與觀音菩薩俱攝護眾生，被視為臨終來迎令得往生的菩薩，而廣受崇信。大勢至與彌陀、觀音二圣，有極深的淵源。在彌陀成佛以前，他即曾與觀世音菩薩共同為彌陀的侍者。在未來世，他也將步觀世音菩薩之后而成佛，名為善住功德寶王佛。

Da shi zhi bodhisattva: also known as da shi bodhisattva， or shi zhi for short. Both bodhisattva and guanyin bodhisattva protect all living beings， and are widely respected as bodhisattvas who are on their deathbed to welcome the world to come. The great power has deep origin with maitreya and alokitesvara. Before maitreya became a Buddha， he served with alokitesvara bodhisattva. In the future， he will follow the alokitesvara bodhisattva and become a Buddha.

西方三圣銅佛像三寶，即佛、法、僧或者覺、正、凈。 念佛法門雖分實相念佛、觀像念佛、觀想念佛，和持名念佛四種。大勢至菩薩為第二王子，名字為“尼摩”?？v三世佛，即過去燃燈佛、現(xiàn)在釋迦牟尼佛、未來彌勒佛。而實在念到業(yè)盡情空，無念而念的時候，這四種念佛方法，西方三圣銅佛像，每用一種，那三種不期然而自然齊得，嚴格的界限。
