Alamanda Polymers was formed in 2007 to satisfy a previously unmet need in the marketplace. With more than 15 years experience in the synthesis of polyamino acids, our scientists have developed a polymerization process that enables complete cool over the molecular weight of the resulting polyamino acids without the use of metal catalysts. Moreover, the process results in highly monomodal products (polydispersity index: 1.01-1.2). Our process produces polypeps and PEGylated polypeps of effectually exact chain lengths with batch-to-batch consistency thus allowing the products to contain polyamino acids of narrowly specified length rather than a broad mixture.
