觸頭性能：為提高觸頭工作的可靠性，對觸頭材料的基本要求是：

1、觸頭材料的電導(dǎo)率與熱導(dǎo)率要高，以降低觸頭通過電流時(shí)的熱損耗，減輕觸頭表面的氧化；

2、觸頭材料的熔化溫度與沸點(diǎn)高、熔化與蒸發(fā)潛熱高，以減少在電弧或火花作用下觸頭的磨損量和不易使觸頭發(fā)生熔焊；

3、觸頭材料對周圍環(huán)境的化學(xué)性能要穩(wěn)定，觸頭受環(huán)境污染后接觸電阻的變化小，接觸電阻穩(wěn)定；4、觸頭材料的硬度與彈性要適當(dāng)，硬度太大時(shí)，接觸的面積小，彈性較大的材料在觸頭閉合時(shí)，由于觸頭間的彈跳使磨損加大；

5、觸頭材料易于加工和焊接；

6、觸頭材料的價(jià)格要低。對強(qiáng)電用觸頭材料，重要的要求是：

①具有低的接觸電阻，防止通過額定電流時(shí)過熱；

②電磨損率和機(jī)械磨損率小，具有較長的使用壽命；

③抗熔焊性能好,在故障情況下能順利分?jǐn)嚯娐罚?/span>

④剩余電流小,滅弧能力強(qiáng)，分?jǐn)啻箅娏鲿r(shí)能迅速滅弧，而且不會引起電弧重燃或持續(xù)電流。對弱電用觸頭材料，要求：

①低而穩(wěn)定的接觸電阻和小的電磨損率，較長的使用壽命；

②具有較高的最小起弧電壓和最小起弧電流，使觸頭盡可能在無電弧情況下操作；

③這種觸頭閉合力小，故機(jī)械磨損不是重要問題。對直流觸頭，要求在直流操作條件下，從觸頭的一方到對方的材料轉(zhuǎn)移要小。
