General
Ultrasonic transit-time differential measurement can be employed to measure the volume flow of any liquid, regardless of electrical conductivity. Two different types of sensors enable users to meter flow cost-effectively, economically and flexibly, anywhere in the process and at any time: clamp-on sensors and inline sensors.
Transmitters
The transmitters are ailable as wall-mount or field housings for hazardous areas and for the process industry. These meters integrate easily into higher-order process-cool systems and support the mainstream Fieldbus systems. The choice of transmitter depends on process requirements and on the type of sensor.

Sensors
The range of sensors is extensive, so widely differing sets of requirements can besatisfied. Clamp-on sensors retrofit to the outside of existing pipes, e.g. for verifying other meters or for temporary flow measurement (accuracy: typically ±2% o.r.). Inline sensors for direct installation in the pipe meet higher accuracy requirements (±0.3 to 0.5% o.r.).
