Deep, brooding intense purple in colour, the aromas of this wine are typical of the variety and the region. Bitter chocolate and thyme combine with French oak and liquorice to produce a complex and iiguing wine.

The palate is tight and sinuous with unbelievable length and outstanding finish.

THE STORY
As Angove Family Winemakers celebrates its 125th anniversary,葡萄酒, it is the perfect time to commemorate the event with the release of a new super premium Shiraz. The release dutifully recognizes the founder of the company, Dr William Thomas Angove, and his birthplace of Cornwall with Medhyk being Cornish for Doctor.

The grapes were picked at night to make sure that they were as cool as pssible. Crushed to modern rotary fermenters the grapes were then allowed to macerate for 2 days before inoculation and fermentation. Pressed off skins 7 days later and allowed to go through the second malolactic fermentation. The wine has then had minimal handling prior to filtration for bottling on the Angove Family Estate.
于夜間采摘葡萄保持其冷卻狀態(tài)。把葡萄壓碎,發(fā)酵前置于發(fā)酵桶中浸泡2天。壓皮7天后進行二次乳酸發(fā)酵。儲存在小橡木桶中,過濾裝瓶前只進行輕微處理。
TASTING NOTES/產品特征
This wine is deep red in colour, with some purple hues. Ripe berry and plum fruit aromas with notes of spice and pepper dominate the nose. On the palate rich ripe black berries and plums precede fine soft smooth tannins and a good length of fruit. Some vanillin and toast characters provide a well balanced finish.
深紅色透著點點紫色。散發(fā)出成熟漿果和李子的香味,西班牙葡萄酒,帶著一點點辛香和胡椒味??诟写己?,有成熟黑莓和李子味,帶出丹寧的細膩柔和以及果香。香草和烤土司的風味使得回味平衡。
